Keep the French curriculum, wherever you live.

Your child is growing up abroad and attending a local school, or following a different pace from the French system. Looping allows them to work on the official curriculum of their class — the real one, from the Bulletin officiel — at their own time, from any country.

You might recognize yourself

The local school does not follow the French curriculum

Your child is learning well, but not the same things at the same time. Fractions come a year later, French literature is not on the curriculum, history is that of the host country. The gap widens without being noticed.

A return to France is possible one day

Nothing is decided, but you don't want this return to cost a lost year. Keeping up with the French curriculum, even one hour a week, changes everything when the question arises.

The French lycée is not an option

Too far, full, or out of budget. There isn't one in your city. You are looking for something that complements the local schooling, without replacing it.

Written French is deteriorating

They speak French at home, but spelling and grammar are fading due to lack of writing. This is the first gap that becomes visible upon return.

What Looping concretely provides

The official curriculum, chapter by chapter

Each quiz is linked to your child's class curriculum, down to the chapter, according to the texts published in the Bulletin officiel. The AI cannot deviate from it: no concept from a higher level, no text that does not apply yet this year.

At a time that suits you

No live classes, no appointments to keep. A session lasts ten to twenty minutes and starts when your child is available — before local school, on weekends, during holidays that do not coincide with those in France. Time zone differences do not exist here.

Written French, worked on for its own sake

Dictations, written expression, dialogues: enough to maintain spelling, grammar, and vocabulary, where schooling in a foreign language leaves little room for writing in French.

You see where they stand

Success by subject and chapter of the curriculum, weekly activity, time spent. You know what is mastered and what is challenging, without having to correct a program you don't have in front of you.

An interface in the language of the home

The site is available in six languages. A child educated in English, Spanish, or German can navigate in the language they are most comfortable with, while the educational content remains in French.

From CP to Terminale

All levels, including middle and high school, with the specialties of première and terminale and the year's limited programs.

What Looping is not

Let's say it right away, so you can make an informed choice.

  • It is not a school. Looping does not replace schooling and does not issue any diplomas or official reports.
  • It is not an institution recognized by the French Ministry of Education, and Looping is not affiliated with any public organization. We rely on official curricula as a source, that's all.
  • It is not a regulated enrollment like CNED: Looping does not exempt you from any educational obligations, neither in France nor in your country of residence.
  • There is no teacher via video. It is an autonomous revision tool, supervised by you.

Questions families abroad ask

My child is enrolled in a foreign system. Can they still use Looping?

Yes. You choose their level in the French system — the one that corresponds to their age, or the one you want to work on — and the content follows this curriculum. Many families have their child work on the corresponding French class alongside the local school.

We are returning to France next year. Where to start?

With the class they will join upon return, or the previous one if there is ground to make up. The chapter-by-chapter tracking quickly shows where the gaps are, subject by subject, without having to start everything over.

Does the time difference pose a problem?

None. There are no live classes, no set schedule. The site is accessible at all times, from any country.

Do we need a French payment method?

No. Payment is processed through Stripe and accepts international cards. Prices are in euros.

What if we have several children at different levels?

Each child has their own space, level, and login code. You can monitor all of them from the same parent account, and the rate is reduced from the second child onwards.

Do our data leave Europe?

No. The data is hosted in the European Union, is never sold, and no advertising is displayed. The children's spaces contain no third-party trackers.

Trying takes ten minutes

Create the account, add your child, choose their class: the first quiz is sent immediately. No commitment, cancellable at any time.
