1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when visiting a site. It allows information related to your browsing to be remembered. The term here broadly covers all trackers: cookies, local browser storage, and session identifiers.
2. Responsible for placement
UNYX, 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France — [email protected].
3. Strictly necessary trackers
Essential for the service to function, they do not require your consent and cannot be disabled from the banner. They are not used for any advertising purposes.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| looping_cookie_consent | Remember your cookie preferences | 13 months |
| Supabase Session | Maintain the session of the connected parent account | Session duration |
| looping_child_session | Maintain the session of the student connected to their space | 30 days |
| looping_sidebar_expanded | Remember the collapsed or expanded display of the menu | Permanent, until deletion |
| aud_vid / aud_sid | Distinguish visits for internal audience measurement, without consent in session only | Session, or 13 months after consent |
4. Audience measurement (with consent)
| Name | Tool | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_XNFV6CTZM0 | Google Analytics 4 | Measure traffic on public pages | 13 months |
These trackers are only placed after explicit acceptance on the banner, and only on the public pages of the site.
5. Campaign attribution
When you arrive on Looping from an advertisement, an email, or a partner, the address may contain campaign parameters (advertising click ID, utm, affiliate code). These parameters are retained for 90 days in your browser's local storage to link a potential registration to its source. They are neither shared with third parties nor used to display advertisements to you.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| looping_attribution | Remember the origin of the visit (campaign, keyword, partner, landing page) | 90 days |
6. What Looping does not do
- No advertising targeting cookies (no social network pixel, no retargeting cookie).
- No third-party trackers in the child, parent, teacher, and administration areas, even with your consent.
- No resale or provision of browsing data to third parties.
- No session recording or heatmap.
7. Manage your choice
During your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or refuse. You can change this choice at any time via the "Manage my cookies" link at the bottom of the page. Your decision is retained for 13 months, after which it will be requested again.
You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies (Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security; Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security; Safari: Preferences > Privacy; Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions). Refusing strictly necessary trackers would prevent the service from functioning.
8. Contact and complaint
For any questions: [email protected]. You have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
